The issue--if it
can be called an issue--of "sex and
games" is thoroughly hitting the mainstream, with the New York Times picking up the "let's talk about
sex" bug. This recent article focuses on the subject, mentioning how high hopes for sex games on modern console
formats have been dashed by the manufacturers--for example, Sony is apparently opposed to any hard core games on the PSP. Oh, the irony. The rest of the article is a glorified ad for Naughty America: The Game, talking about how it plans to join the three fields of sex, dating and online games. According to a spokesman, rather than levelling in the game, "you add prestige by having sex with more people." Sounds intriguing.
