Force the PSP's screen brightness to level four

Here’s a neat little partial hack for everyone who thinks the PSP’s default brightness isn’t anywhere near bright enough. With just a few flicks of your wrist, you can keep the screen brightness at level 4 even if you’re not plugged in. We’ve included a link to the instructions, but basically all it entails is unplugging the console while the load screen and the brightness are up, and the level should lock until you disengage it via the screen button.

Granted, there’s a reason why this brightness lock is in place. Expect a little bit less portable gaming and video viewing time while exploiting this flaw. However, if you’ve always complained about things not being viewable enough on your PSP, have at it.
