New Advanced Warfighter screens don't disappoint

Pro-G has posted a pile of new screenshots of Ubisoft's highly-anticipated tactical shooter, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. And of course, we're talking the Xbox 360 version. The images show off several locales including an urban environment, desert terrain, a beach scene, and what looks to be a loading dock. In addition, the scenes unfold during various times of day. Although Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter was originally planned as 360 launch title, we're glad that the developers have taken the time to separate this next-gen version from its current-gen brethren. Still, let's hope the game is on track for that early March release—we're gettin' antsy...

Can't wait for this game it looks great. I like that fact they are allowing us to customize the game modes to come up with 1000 different ways to play online.

i try not to set my hopes too high for games but i'm really excited about this one. i won't be mad if they change the release date, as long as the final product is good. but i'd be very happy if it comes out in march

Nice, I'm looking forward to this on PC. I see that there are also XBox1.0 and PS2 versions, but no doubt the 360 and PC versions will be the ones to get.
(Provided that the 360 version isn't online-crippled like CoD2).

Looks great! Ubi soft has always had a flair for games that look original and are very engaging

So sexy...
My dilemma. Both this and Double Agent are scheduled to release in March. Which one do I get? I don't think I can purchase both... but I want to...
and probably will, spending most time on Splinter Cell.

Don't show Xbox 360 screenshots. It makes the PS3 fanboys cry, since they have nothing to compare it to. Um, Sony, you should start giving us more screens.
It becomes more and more apparent with the next slew of 360 games that the PS3 will not be "blowing the 360 out of the water". They seem on to be on par with each other. Especially when PSM says, "Okay, we admit that the 360 version looks good, but the PS3 version looks just as good...," about Fight Night Round 3.
PSM needs to make up it's mind on whether it's going to smack talk the 360 or accept it. They'd be smart to choose the latter.
This reminds me about the "generations" as everyone claims with consoles. I consider the Dreamcast and the PS2 in one generation, and the Gamecube and the Xbox in a later generation (due to better hardware). The PS3 and the 360 are a generation after that...it's almost like Sony gets to skip one.
Thankfully, the PS3 will probably not be producing lesser graphics to it's competitor this time, but more about the same. The Dreamcast games looked so much cleaner than the PS2 games, but the PS2's hype won. We better not run into that again.

The beach level looks UT2k4-quality, but the urban environments look great.

my question is why are the screens always in 640x320 resolution? if they really want to show off a system why not show the screenshot in its native res, 1280x720? then I would actually know what im looking at. will it be smudgy at this res? I dont know, will it look good on my TV? Who knows, 640x320 is practicaly genesis/snes resolution (cept they weren't 2:1)
