Resident Evil DS; good touch, bad touch

Capcom is apparently not without a sense of humor. They've decided to get really creative with the DS' touchpad feature in their upcoming title Resident Evil : Deadly Silence (DS... get it?). Here are some videos of what happens when you get frisky with that stylus.

When you rub Jill Valentine's breastular region (mpg), she covers her chest in shame, making you feel like a complete pervert. And if you tap Chris Redfield's bottom (mpg), he purrs like a kitten... actually he doesn't. He just smacks you away, trying to play it off... but inside, a little piece of him dies every time you do it. As soon as you turn the game off, he curls into a fetal position and cries himself to sleep, thinking happy thoughts...

Are you happy Nintendo? Touching isn't always good!

Upon first glance, I read "breastular" as "breastacular".

"Breastacular" is way better.

Sega did this earlier in Feel the Magic XY/XX. In the manual they warn you, "Do not touch the girl." This is important advice for many real-life situations, but they're mainly referring to the menu screen. If you touch her there she will react negatively to you in various ways depending you where you place your filthy paws.

After reading this a thought came to mind.

Escort DS! You can remove pieces of clothing by gently pulling them off or enticing the girl (or guy) in the game to do so. Then you can rub & prod the naked body all you want, sometimes with toys or whatever.
Obviously an 18+ game.
Nintendo will probably never go for it. God forbid any of it's customers ever engage in anything remotely sensual... bastards.

Reminds me of old-school Sierra adventure games... use the hand icon on Roger's "special area" and you're rewarded with something along the lines of "Narrator: Hey! This is supposed to be a family game!"

The Resident Evil guys did something similar in at least the Gamecube edition of Resident Evil 4. If you tried looking up Ashley's skirt (for instance while she's on a ledge and you have to catch her jumping down) she'd call you a pervert.

I always love it on Resident Evil 4 when you get knocked over and are about to die. When falling over you just so happen to have your head under her skirt and all she cares about is that. She doesn't give a crap that you're almost dead. I always get a good laugh out of that.

i guess that's valid lol. I'll most likley get this when it comes out too, been wanting to play RE but never really had any motivation... I played Gallerians before playing a proper horror game so I guess that kinda ruined it for me.

That Escort DS idea has probably already been done in japan. Probably not by nintendo but their are a lot of 3rd party "social simulators" that are just pretty anime girls that get naked. They have virtually no real gameplay ussually just a few preset chat menu screens. They've been tried in america but gameplay is too thin for most american game players.

It seems to me that some developer in japan would almost certainly use the DS's unique gamplay posibilities towards these games.
