1UP has an adorable little feature listing the top ten things to do with the Xbox 360 power supply. Here's where I'm supposed to play the role of loyal Xbox supporter and plead with the entire Internet to get over the admittedly large PSU... but some of them are kind of funny, especially #9. They did leave out "Using it to power the Xbox 360," which seems like a notable oversight, but one I'm willing to overlook... this time.
I anticipate the PlayStation 3 will have a similarly sized power supply. It is as powerful, if not more so, than the Xbox 360, and the case we've been shown doesn't appear thermodynamically sound. If they have any hopes of keeping the size down, they'll move the power supply out of the case and onto the floor. Then we can make fun of it.
