UPDATE: It turns out that GameBrink
was misinformed. Time Crisis 4 will indeed feature two screens, but similar to past iterations, each screen is
designated for one player only. Instead, the new innovation will be a free-look mode, which will allow players to pan
around their respective screens.[Thanks, ferrarimanf355]
According to GameBrink.com, Namco's upcoming arcade sequel, Time Crisis 4, will feature dual screens. We've seen two monitors used in the series before, to distinguish between player one and two's view points, but apparently the dual screen implementation in TC4 is intended to create a panoramic environment for a single player. At key points in the action, the player will have to shift focus from one screen to the other. Namco will be hosting an open beta test of the game this weekend.
