It's stories like this that
really show that we here at PSP Fanboy will just about cover anything related to the PSP. PSP Hacks did a quickie
read-and-write test on a Sandisk 2GB Memory Stick Pro and report that while its read speed was relatively the same as
on the 1GB, the write speed is about a meg slower per second. But do we care? Heck yeah![UPDATE:] On rare occasion, we here at PSP Fanboy get so excited about news that we sometimes overlook important bits of info. Okay, hopefully that sounded convincing, but we're going to make up for it anyway. You may not be able to use the Sandisk 2GB Memory Stick Pro in your PSP (which only uses Memory Stick Pro Duos), but with a little bit of ingenuity and this guide you can still make use of whatever old and decrepit Memory Sticks you may still have lying around.
