A year's review of the program ensues, with thieves tarnishing the purity of the subsidized experiment, but at least some of the "lost" (and then recovered) titles included Van Helsing, Alias, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Do game thieves have no taste? (Okay, they took Gran Turismo 4 and Lego Star Wars, too, but why would you steal bad games? A sense of gamer honor, perhaps? Okay, probably pure ignorance there, too.) At any rate, even if games are limited to PS2 budget games (and probably PS3 titles in the future due to their touted backward compatibility), we hope more libraries begin to share games with the public after these types of stories are told.
[Thanks, John]
