Spoiler City: gallery of game endings
Game
Revolution has an awesome gallery of classic 8-bit and 16-bit game endings. Don't remember how Sonic the Hedgehog ends? Never did finish Strider? There are a
couple dozen videos on the site, all playable in flash. The majority of the games are all AAA classics like Super Metroid and The Revenge of Shinobi,
with the obligatory Zero Wing entry, and the occasional Kid Chameleon. Where's the Final Fantasy
endings? If you don't mind the absence of video, the Video Game Museum has a huge library of stills from tons o' games.

I know. It's been down for a couple days, so I waited until it was revived before linking it. Hopefully they can handle a little extra Joystiq traffic. =)

Joystiq... wtf? You've spoilt Zelda for me... Idiots.

FF endings?! Are you NUTS the FF6 ending is AT LEAST 20 minutes on its own, which is absurd for a game that old.

Meh... I don't overly care for VG Museum. Every time I click on a link I get about 20 pop-ups. It's just not worth wading through a million pop-ups to see a few stills.

Trust me, if you bought that game when it came out (and paid the requisite 80 dollars for it), you were pleased that it had a 20 minute ending.
