There are all kinds of schools offering game-related
degrees these days, but what about the teachers out there already? Sure, they might be willing to allow a game from
EA here or there in the classroom today, but what about the vocabulary to go along with it?Consider this picture: A young gaming hopeful approaches the cruel world of words and miraculously comes across a term he's utterly familiar with through constant use in his daily life! Sadly enough, his valiant effort at an antonym is docked when his instructor cannot fathom the true antithesis of a pro, which of course is a noob.
We figured the kids were the ones who could learn a thing or two these days, but it's really the grown-ups who could use an education. We hope the father of this young man (er... woman?) is proud of his (or her) accomplishment, and look forward to the day when all children are accepted regardless of the noobness of their elders.
[Thanks, Jesse]
