Another little peek at Black

There'a a ton (8-10 min.) of gameplay fotage of Black on 1UP's video podcast "The 1UP Show." They've covered it in the last two episodes and it looks awesome.

This game will be totally awesome, who needs next-gen consoles anyway?

the replay value has got to be bad, I mean sure even Mercnaries Play Ground of Destruction was bad a$$ the first week but it got old with no multiplayer. I mean put in the code get the best guns go kill people, fly around dropping cars to their deaths, call in an airstrike blow ups stuff, but it still didn't hold my attention for more then 2 weeks if not less.

Hopefully the game play is better than EA's Battlefield 2. I don't have much faith in EA putting out a good first person shooter, but by the graphics this will warrant at least a rent.

I played a demo over at Game Crazy, and the dude hooked me up with a demo disk as well. This game is going to be GREAT and i'm not even an FPS fan (that may be bad news for FPS fans, eh? Haha). The fact that the ENTIRE environment can be absolutely f----g destroyed is... well, it's.... it's beautiful. When i first fired it up at the kiosk in the store, i was stuck in this tiny room (in the game, that is)... so i asked the guy working how the hell to get out... he said simply "start shooting"... so i did... needless to say, the walls came-a-tumbling down!

I would divulge you more (not that you would want to read it. My game-speak is lacking, i know), but my sammich is getting cold....

EA's not making it, they're publishing. Criterion is developing, and considering how fun they made racing with Burnout 3 and Revenge, I have high hopes.

Gotta have multiplayer...at least in some form(system link? 4-player split screen?) I mean, with a great engine and big enough attention, the multiplayer-part would be huge.

Regardless, I'm up for Black(wish they would release a 360 version at the same time) I have the PS2 Demo. Short but sweet(especially for a company who's only done Burnout games)
