DoA Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2 up next for Itagaki; non-Ninja Gaiden action title to come after that
The latest issue of Famitsu Xbox 360 has quite a few Japanese
developer, uh... developments in it, but the juicy Team Ninja news deserves a post all its own: Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach
Volleyball 2 will be the next 360 release for the team, and the action game to follow won't be a sequel to
Ninja Gaiden.According to GameSpot: "Itagaki said Team Ninja is already working on the opening and ending scenes for [DoAXBV2], and he is currently implementing some new ideas to the original design. Itagaki avoided commenting on a release period." DoA4's first update is set for mid-February, however.
Unfortunately, fans of the current 360 TN release may be disappointed to learn that "plans to release new outfits for DO4 characters via Xbox Live Marketplace have been put off due to budget and staffing issues." Also, any future costumes made (if any are made at all) would not be offered for free. Wow, things were pretty good with DoA Ultimate, huh? At least Itagaki apologized for DoA4's unfortunate delay.

I love DOAX. Now in full fidelity high-definition. Now, where's ninjahacker when it comes out?

weak; ninja gaiden 360 should be THE PRIORITY, not this soft porn nonsense.

I wonder if they'll grow some balls and actually put nudity in this game.
Martez @ Jan 30th 2006 8:21PM
I like volleyball, I like pretty girls in skimpy clothing, and even I didn't fall for this trash the first time. What a worthless game/series.

Oh man, finally the 360's killer app. I will TOTALLY have to purchase a 360 when this thing hits the shelves.
However, I'm actually going to buy one just for the Live Arcade functionality, so who knows, maybe this game will have some appeal. I mean, does anybody really like this stuff though?

Wow, just think; if Tecmo hadn't sued us into submission, I can think of a whole bunch of folks that would be more than happy to create new costumes, for free...
Then again, if they didn't waste so much money suing their fanboys, there probably wouldn't be budget or staffing issues to begin with...

Skip this crap. Someone should make Sexy Beach for one of the next gen consoles. Revolution could have an interesting control scheme...

"I wonder if they'll grow some balls and actually put nudity in this game."
If you want nudity then download Sexy Beach 2 on a torrent website. It's for the PC, has nudity...and few "other" features as well. lol

@11: Quagmeier! Hehe!
To my shame have to say that I liked the game while I was sane enought to give it a 5/10 for simply having too little content or gameplay.
