I'm the mother of the American Idol reject that sang the jiggly puff song. That what not the song that he was audition for as he stated in an earlier e-mail. This audition was meant to get just the reaction that it got from the viewers. Whatever the case negative or positive he still got maximum exposure and now he has an opportunity to let everyone know(if given the opportunity)that he has talent far beyond what was shown on the American Idol tryout. Love you son.

It would have been +1000 if he had gotten up there and sang a selection from Katamari Damacy instead.

I bet he did it on a dare (maybe even a bet). No way someone would do that as a serious entry.

Does anyone else feel embarrassed on behalf of people when people do really embarrassing things? So much it makes you cringe and advert your eyes?

Jesse... only if they seem embarassed. This guy seemed confident in his Jiggly Puff song, so I felt confident with him.
But singing and Pokemon just don't mix:

Holy crap, I would have paid a lot of money to see that happen.
It takes balls to get on national TV and do that. I salute the Jiggly Puff man.

THIS IS MY HOMEBOY BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!! The story goes, he tried out last year and did not make the cut because they said his voice was too "mature". Dude can actually sing his ass off! SO, he did this as a joke and got maximum exposure. Personally I had not seen the video until now and I cannot stop laughing... He got what he wanted...

Believe it or not this is my Friend!! He was on the show tryouts last year but they said his voice was to "mature". SO, as a joke he decided to sing the jigglypuff song, which in turn gave him max exposure. This is crazy seeing him on a website I visit normally...

Let's hope he explains everyone he knows why he did it, because I think we all got the wrong idea. Nintendo employees, give this dude a pokemon tshirt or something, POkemon is back on the news! Can imagine what everyone said on next classday... hahahaha

Too bad American Idol didn't show what I really sang, Ain't too proud to beg because that jiiglypuff song was told by me to sing.

I didn't even meet Paula,Simon, and Randy thats what pisses me off. But more than that the two British producers told me to sing that bullshit Jigglypuff song, instead of my first two selections Ain't too Proud to beg & The Reason. But if William Hung can do it I'll roll with the punches too and still aim at getting my record deal!!!
