The thing about being the first to launch a console in something as big as this next-gen race is the fact that
Microsoft had to gamble and put all of their cards on the table. Everyone knew as much. But now with the PlayStation 3
looming over the horizon, people are starting to talk about how it will stack up against the current competition,
namely the Xbox 360.With an online service in the works that people are comparing to Microsoft's Xbox Live, more features are starting to emerge that could give the software giant a run for its money. One such notable attribute is the PS3's DVR capabilities (that's Digital Video Recording for the rest of us). This will allow owners to capture TV shows for viewing at a later time. And don't forget the iTunes-esque download service and Location Free Player benefit as well.
