Just as we expected, Epic's Ryan Gordon
has made available a "Universal Binary" version of Unreal Tournament 2004 for the Mac. Now owners of
Intel-based iMacs and MacBooks will be able to see how this game runs natively on their machines. We don't want to come
off as pushy, but if anyone owns an Intel Mac machine and a copy of the game: get out there, test it and send us the
results! We're very curious as to how well Apple's latest chip runs games, as we're sure you are too.[Update: Macologist has some preliminary benchmarks showing a 40% performance improvement over previous G5 iMacs.]
