funny that the reviews dont quite match up with the people enjoying it online. close to 20 thousand have registered and played online. would be interested to hear joystiqs personal impressions of their time spent online playing this...oh wait, we know that wont happen. bored with joystiqs meaningless bashing of titles that we know they have not played...borrrriiinnngggggg. guess thats why kotaku owns and you are doodoo.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments sneed. You can read my review of the title at the Philadelphia Weekly: http://philadelphiaweekly.com/view.php?id=11509

Regardless, the post gathers quotes from notable reviews on the internet. I fail to see how lack of playing a game firsthand impairs the veracity of this post. If you enjoy playing it online, go ahead.

Oh, and the online play: still buggy, still ugly, and a pale imitation of Socom. While it is better than the single player, I think that's probably attributable to being created by an entirely different development team. You can read all this in the forthcoming Joystiq review. Thanks for the troll though. :)

I played in the beta for this game and it was a miserable pile of crap, and playing it again now, its still the same miserable pile of crap. Its pretty much just like multiplayer Fur Fighters, except vaguely controvercial, looks worse and is less fun. I agree with Grant, play SOCOM instead

it ironic that direct2drive ( i have no idea what that is) would advertise 25 to life of IGN. i mean they had those massive ads that take up the side and the top. wtf?

I got to chime in on the sneed bashing, the only reason this game has 20,000 people playing online is that the developer spent many MILLIONS on advertisements on this game. IMHO, they are probably disappointed with only thousands playing the game.
