I like the animation, but it still looks amateurish and cheesy. With a design upgrade it would be hot.

I think it looks pretty good. Out of all the fake interfaces, this one make me look forward to the real thing even more. I can't wait to start playing the classics again.

If the animation were this slow and clunky in the actual interface, I'd spend a lot of time throwing the controller in rage.

Don't Panic!
If Nintendo put's that in the interface it will have all the advantages that The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy has over the Encyclopedia Galactica.
(Cheaper and has the words don't anic written on the front.)

Impressive, I must say myself! But why did you (the creator) take out the logo? If I were you, i would place those button instructionals around the corners somewhere and put the logo in it't rightful place.

Good job!

How many MS or SONY fan-made mockups had we seen for what the 360 or PS3 might look like prior to their unveilings?

What is it about Nintendo that inspires such creativity among its fans?

I'll tell you what......Boredom. The xbox and ps2 guys are busy playing all their great new releases while the nintendo boys are stuck waiting for the next zelda.

Sorry, I love nintendo, but give us some damn games will you? Or more Revo info. We're dying here!

Ok, well we're not dying. The DS is great with a huge laundry list of great titles coming but none the less, I'm tired of waiting for LOZTP even if it is the best game in the series. Bring it already. Enough with the damn mockups.

This is one ninty fan that is growin impatient.

I just realized, and I don't know if anyone else has yet, but do you guys realize that like, 10 years down the road if we heard about how we were looking at how cool or good or real or fake a revolution mock-up looked like, we would probably laugh our u know whats off. just a thought.

It's cool but I'd totally be pissed if the animations were that slow and you couldn't skip 'em.

#8:

Whoever made this flash interface must've thought, "Hey, what if I added my own touch to this?" Too bad they failed. They took out your Revolution logo and replaced it with a rounded rectangle, a circle, and letters, none of which are capitalized. I think it destroyed the professional look.

Bst one I've seen. LOVE the names in the memory page! Mario Party 38? That means at least one per month for the next three years! Can't wait for Kid Icarus: When Legends awake! (thats a really good name)

Needs music?? I don't understand why all these mock-up videos have music in them, since when have we had an interface with background music? Sure there's sound effects when the menu changes screens, but never actuall music. Sure its a cool idea but if you're going to be spending a lot of time in the system shell anything will get anoying over time. Unless you could choose the tracks or add in your own mp3's that might be cool.

It doesn't work! I clicked on Mario 128 on the third screen and got as frustrated as in those dreams where I try to play a PSP with a stylus, then attempt to fix it with an axe or the heel of my shoe. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Poor laptop!

All the FAKE Revolution interface screens are getting out of hand...eventually people are going to start complaining when it is eventually released b/c it didn't have some feature from a FAKE interface screen.

Frigginwickedawesome. Just refont some of the text and slap a logo (that doesn't blow) on it and it's good.

How about an interface that actually takes advantage of the controller? You'd also want it to work with the dpad, if the calibration is messed up or if you're using a gamecube or other controller.

Why is america the centre in the map? I mean is america the centre of anything other than obesity?

I urge somebody out there to make an actual serious fake. something that's hard to tell its authenticity. something in Japanese, something real. Surely there's some designer out there who can do it. joke interfaces are a clich?ow.

posting this to let you all know that I (the maker of this mock-up) have read through these complaints and will change it accordingly

ver. 1.1 will include: music, intro, logo instead of button instructions, and a faster frame rate

I hope to have it up by the end of tonight (respectivley to my timezone)

by the way: the original FPS was about 20, but lag slowed it to twelve

I now pledge to make a realistic Revolution Interface mockup! We'll see if you guys know if I do it or not. I might even include some subtle hints in it to show that I did, in fact, do it.

This is definitely the best mockup of the Revolution iface I've seen yet. All the others just sucked, but this one is intriguing.

#14, there's music in the Gamecube's interface. Are you hard of hearing or something?
