Is Princess Zelda a woman in that pic? If so, I'm frightened, hell, if it's a guy I think I'm more frightened.

Crazy?

Crazy like a fox! I'm so going out tonight to Jo-Ann fabrics and making myself an outfit.

Nothing gets a girls attention like a white leotard that leaves nothing to the imagination and gives a man camel toe. Groowl!

BTW, anybody remember Alisa Chan?

OK, why did you have to post up the least flattering picture you could find?

Cosplay is a very difficult thing to do. You see those costumes? They're made by hand. The props are probably homemade as well. I bet you couldn't make costumes like those. And they're pretty good costumes.

How dare people who like it not look like supermodels! How dare they try and have fun!

Pata, believe me, there were worse pictures in that thread to post. As for the question (which seems directly addressed to me), one of my many side projects is theatrical costume design; I've not got the time to get into cosplay, but I would love to make costumes like these if I did. Even so, there are times when one should know one's own bodily limitations :)

Oh man, that Silence of the Lambs joke was GOLD!

I missed you Laughing Man.

And Jennie, good call on the limits that need to be set on cosplay participants. I dont want to be rude, but if I see one more fat ass Titus, I am going off the deep end.

People, please. You are offending. The cosplays are very nice, I think they look very good. I myself couldn't make a cosplay for crap, even cutting a piece of fabric is a hard thing to do for me. They look like they put effort into it, and although they could have done better, I've seen WORSE. REALLY worse.
