I, like many other jaded members of the
gaming population, no longer anticipate the release of movie-based games. The litany of offenses is long and altogether
stinky: Enter the Matrix sucked big time, Bad Boys: Miami Takedown was so atrocious it probably made
Martin Lawrence wish his career died sooner, and don't even get me started on E.T. And while I can't deny the
successful turns titles like The Chronicles of Riddick and King Kong had, I just wasn't very excited
when I heard that Pixar's upcoming animated film "Cars" would be sending off a little bundle of joy to the
PSP.Chances are it'll be a kiddie game which, with the exception of Lego Star Wars, already guarantees that no one above the mental age of four will touch it. So unless I happen to befall some tragic fate where I revert back to infancy, you won't find me drooling spit over a copy of this game when it launches, which will quite possibly be around the time the movie hits theatres, as history (and earnings figures) suggest.
