Earlier today,
Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime announced that DS download stations—a big draw in Japan—would begin
cropping up in popular US retail outlets beginning in March. EB Games, GameStop, and Game Crazy have already agreed to
feature the download stations, while Nintendo is currently working out negotiations with Target and Wall-Mart to
include the units in their nationwide outlets. Nintendo predicts that DS download stations will be available at
thousands of locations across the country bringing users fresh, but limited* content for their portable devices.*Most content that is downloaded from a station will be lost once the DS is powered-off. [Update: not all content is deleted, see Comment #1]
