Headlining today's agenda will be Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime addressing the topic of "Expanding the Market for
Interactive Entertainment." Valve's Gabe Newell will also be on hand with a presentation titled, "Half-Life
and the Struggle for Survival." Joining Reggie and Gabe on today's schedule will be David Jaffe, lead designer for
God of War.Other speakers include Richard Garriott, creator of the Ultima series, and his brother, Robert, who, as CEO of the North American division of NCsoft, is Richard's boss. Also in the house will be BMW's Alec Bernstein explaining how video games influence car design and GameTap GM Stuart Snyder.
Following the day's presentations, the AIAS will hold the Ninth Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, hosted by Jay Mohr. Nominees for Game of the Year include: Call of Duty 2, God of War, Guitar Hero, Nintendogs, and Shadow of the Colossus.
