Microsoft interested in getting Lionhead?

When talking about Microsoft, company acquisitions are not a new topic. The software giant has a history of buyouts as they already have two of the most creative developers out there, Bungie and Rare. Well their latest victim interest could be the British boys that brought us Fable, none other than Lionhead Studios.

EA has taken itself out of the picture, but Ubisoft on the other hand might be trying to pull a fast one. Lionhead and Microsoft already have a good relationship though, seeing as how the latter published Fable. This could be a solid business move for the two if the article is correct about them working on a sequel for the Xbox 360.
