Nintendo
recently announced that over 850,000 unique users worldwide have now taken advantage of the free Nintendo Wi-Fi
Connection service. Since late last month, the
service has introduced 350,000 new users into its network.Having launched in November, the DS's online gaming service has already logged 20 million connections, supported by thousands of hotspots spread throughout the world. Despite these impressive numbers, the service's growth has actually been hindered, particularly in Europe, due to a shortage in the supply of the WiFi USB Connector.
