I would not go hunting with him. I smell cover-up.

Yeah, they had something similar on the Daily Show a couple of nights ago.

Really, did *any* gamer's mind not go immediately to Duck Hunt when this story broke?

You know, when I first read about this, it was very funny. There's a lot of humor in events like this to keep it fresh for a while, but not enough to base an entire episode of the Daily Show on. They ran that joke so far into the ground it practically came out the other end. I mean, yeah, he's Cheney, but just how much fun CAN you make about something like this?

I'm not political at all, so don't even start with the typical labeling bull, but this really is a testament to how ravenous liberal media has become about this administration. I hate all those guys too, but damn, this was seriously like watching starving dogs jump all over a piece of fresh meat and fight over it.

Well, there is some question as to the legality of the hunting trip: they may have been hunting too late in the day, and they may not have had the proper "Upland game bird stamp," a permit for hunting quail... So 'criminal prosecution' for shooting someone might be ruled out, but bending some rules for Texas hunting may have occurred.

Not to mention the 'not illegall' but hunter-frowned-upon practice of 'road hunting' (hunting from or using a vehicle to get to your hunting area, illegal in Texas but not on private property; Armstrong, owner of the private ranch, says she 'saw the accident occur' from the vehicle, so they must have been pretty close)...

Oh well. No one has ever really expected ethics from this administration, have we?

Moving on...

I guess Louis S. is incapable of having a civil deiscussion without resorting to CHILDISH name calling.

If you had actually READ the original story, the reason why he was shot was b/c he FAILED to notify the ENTIRE hunting group that he had returned.

I am no hunter but EVERY person I haved heard who has callled into various radio shows has stated that you are supposed to notify your hunting group when you leave/rejoin the group.
