WOOT! No seriously, this game just keeps looking better and better.

I absolutely can't wait until Hunters comes out. I would have bought it even if it was in the same condition as the demo is, but my God does it look amazing.
Andrew Hsieh @ Feb 15th 2006 5:34PM
I must say, when I got my DS and the accompanying Hunters demo, I wasn't too impressed at all. But seriously -- it looks like I was completely wrong.
Very nice.
back_lit @ Feb 15th 2006 5:37PM
This should be filed under DS NOT Revolution.
Anthony Graddy @ Feb 15th 2006 5:40PM
Wow! That looks amazing! If it looks that good for the DS, imagine what Metroid is going to be like on the Revolution!
I can't wait!
Paul @ Feb 15th 2006 5:41PM
I can't believe how good that looks. I'm also really happy that they're expanding the Metroid universe, introducing new races and characters. It's a whole frikkin galaxy, it's nice to know there's more than Samus, Chozo, and Mantis-Pirates.

Well their is no doubt in my mind the Wi-Fi for Hunters is going to be an all out frenzy. I just wish it supported more than 4 players at a time, and gave us voice chat duiring the matches. I also hope all of this extra time taken means at least a decent one player experience. There really has not been to much coverage on this game which is odd considering it ships in about a month. Well cross your fingers and hope for the best. Can't wait.

this is the game that will convince me and probably many others to get a ds if they haven't already
C-Dub @ Feb 15th 2006 7:02PM
How does one control that game? Thumb stylus + dpad + shoulder buttons?
DarkMirror_Link @ Feb 15th 2006 7:10PM
You use the touch screen to turn and aim (like a mouse), the d-pad/ABXY to strafe and move forward (depending on what's your dominant hand), and L or R to shoot. The Morph Ball and other schtuff like that can be accessed through buttons on the touch screen.
It's really very nifty.

This looks so awesome... Probably the best graphics in a DS game yet.
Jago @ Feb 15th 2006 8:32PM
Actually in the demo there were around 4-5 different control configurations (including setups for lefties.) It took a little to get used to but after th at it was pretty fun.
Princess Zelda @ Feb 15th 2006 10:21PM
I did not know the DS could produce game graphics like Metroid prime Hunters. This game was not on my list of games to buy but if the one person player story mode is as an amazing of a game as Metroid Prime is I'll be buying it.
rockin_robbie @ Feb 15th 2006 11:21PM
Looks awesome, although I am worried its all only multiplayer. I love metroid for their single player experiences. I hope that doesn't fall away.
ck @ Feb 15th 2006 11:45PM
I can't wait for the DS lite to come out so I can play this.
World of Warcraft Screenshots @ Feb 16th 2006 4:31AM
Wow, the graphics looks like it was a game made for the Gamecube.
o.O
Aelieth @ Feb 16th 2006 9:41AM
So... cool! Must... buy! *rabid drooling insues*

I like joystiq a lot, but transparency is good. The link was changed and my comment was deleted.
