I you have yourself a fancy television--plasma, LCD, projection, etc--you may have been upset to learn traditional lightguns wouldn't work with your fancy new set. Somehow you managed to survive; undoubtedly by photosynthesis, transforming the light from your impossibly bright, giant projector into vital nutrients. Well, slum it no longer. The new TopGun lightgun works with all of the above, and is Xbox, PS2, and PC compatible.
Lik-Sang got their hands on the unit, running it through its paces. While the major advantage to owners of incompatible sets is simply a working lightgun, there are some glaring downsides to the product. First, the setup sounds pretty... involved. Plug the gun into the console, plug it into the wall, then plug that into the LED bars, place those around your television, calibrate, then shoot zombies. Regardless, for $35 you get a light gun that, not only works with virtually any display, but whose accuracy is only bested by Namco's superlative GunCon 2.
