the sad thing is, that even though they closed the tax loophole. the man's still rich.

looks like we'll just have to suck up the fact that he still has 3 more movies in que (under the loophole law) and wait for him to fade away.

this man will only hurt the future image of german film makers.

thx for the uwe boll update.

Lucky us... we finally get to see this guy get whacked. Even if it won't really put a stopper on his film career.

FarCry? How the hell did he get FarCry? He's only supposed to get to do movies about mediocre games.

I had a crazy thought: What if the first film he directs that's not based on a video game turns out to be pretty good?

"It's fashionable to hit on Uwe Boll."

Allow me to repeat that quote.

"It's fashionable to hit on Uwe Boll."

Who has actually watched one of Uwe Boll's movies? This question goes out to all commenters and the author of this post.

Just out of curiosity, since there seems to be a massive percentage of people slating his movies without ever having watched one, simply basing their opinions upon what others have said and - in rare cases - upon professional and reputable reviews.

I'm not defending his films or the man himself, but I generally hate seeing people flaunting opinions grounded in nothing but hearsay. Those doing so should take note and resolve the ignorance before continuing.

xD

Will Uwe Boll ever quit whining? He loves to blame other people, or the fact that it is "fashionable", which is why he keeps getting bad reviews. If he would just take responsiblity for the fact that his movies get bad reviews because they suck, then maybe he would be able to actually start getting better as a director, and make movies people actually like.

FEAR EFFECT???? Wow just Wow. Since he obviously has no problem with nudity (Bloodrayne) that could get pretty perverted. Of course by that time the movies might be scoring negatives in the movie index.

*Sigh* People go see this guys movies because:

1.) Hes the only one doing the game-to-movie genre that we all relate to.

2.) We wanna see how badly hes gonna f**k up another video game franchise so we can complain about how bad he is.

Personaly i dont know how or why he keeps getting work but hes got more movies out than i do so someone out there thinks hes tits. The only way he'll stop making movies is:

1.) He suddenly gets tired of money

2.) Video game companies realize he sucks and stop approaching him to make movies for them.

Its his fault he sucks but its 's fault they want to ruin the franchise.

I've never seen his movies. Honestly, I just think the concept of a guy who makes legendary wretched movie adaptations of also-ran video games (and who is very, very confident about it) is totally hilarious.

I'm just going to avoid spending a single penny on his movies all together. If he doesn't get any money, he can't mercilessly rape the names of our good games anymore. I hope you'll all join my Uwe Boll boycott.
