It seems that rumored release date
was pretty accurate--for the US, at least. Square Enix has published an official press release regarding the US release
of Advent Children, and the golden date is April 25th for DVD and UMD. Being released as a 2-disc Special
Edition (how can it be special without a "standard" edition?), Advent Children will feature a
"making of" featurette, footage from the Venice Film Festival, a story digest, and deleted scenes.Despite earlier suggestion, Jessica Alba is not voicing a character in the US release. Instead, Rachel Leigh Cook will provide the voice of Tifa. Other notable voice actors include Steve Burton as Cloud (he also voices Cloud in both Kingdom Hearts games) and Mena Suvari as Aerith.
Peculiarly, the suggested retail price for the UMD edition is actually more expensive than the DVD.
