Official word from Sony expected in March

Just to prove how dry everyone is for official news, Sony has announced a date for when gamers can expect something authentic to chew on. Phil Harrison, the big boss, will be talking at the Game Developer's Conference next month. On the 22nd, he will lead a keynote entitled "PlayStation 3: Beyond the Box."

Since he helped unveil the PS3 last May, we can bet on hearing some solid information before long that may answer a few questions here or there. Given the nature of the event, the keynote address will be geared a lot toward the game developer audience, after all. Hopefully we'll get the chance to follow up on the juicy news that'll be coming out of the GDC next month.
