Blitz Games, the developer behind
Fuzion Frenzy and the forthcoming zombie epic, Possession, have what appears to be a Nintendo
Revolution logo on their corporate website (follow the "Read" link, then click on "Corporate").
Now, there are numerous reasons why this this should cause a glowing, rotating question mark to appear above your head,
the most important one being that Nintendo has previously stated that "Revolution" is just a codename. It
seems more likely that Blitz Games is just using a placeholder graphic until the time comes when Nintendo chooses to
unveil the final design. However! With so much buzz already mounting around the current name (some blogs have even put "Revolution" in their titles), it might be seen as a mistake to suddenly alter the console's identity. Before the DS launched, Nintendo stated that it too would undergo a change of name...only that never happened. The "DS" name stuck. The Revolution name has become synonymous with next-gen innovation, much more so than "Dolphin" before it. I'd concede that this probably isn't the final logo, but I'd be willing to bet (some sort of sandwhich) that the name is here to stay.
What do you guys think? Should the name stick around, or should it be given the boot?

[Update: The logo has since been removed and replaced by boring, unimaginative text. Take that as you will...]
