F.E.A.R. patched, mod making contest started
Vivendi have released a patch for
F.E.A.R. that brings punkbuster anti-cheat support to the game, along with three new multiplayer maps. Besides
this update, the company has started a F.E.A.R. Map, Movie, and Mod Contest (you'll
need a FilePlanet account to enter). With an easily accessible SDK, anti-cheat support and a contest to get modders motivated, we can't wait to see what the community will come up with. We've been waiting since the game's launch for an enterprising modder to come along and turn F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer mode into something we actually want to play.
