Next-gen.biz recently spoke with Shane Kim in an attempt to squeeze some Halo 3 details out of the
Microsoft Game Studios GM. While his answers remained vague, Kim did suggest that the "mythical" Halo
3 could be released this year "if it's the game that everyone is expecting." Translation: no. Microsoft
is sticking to its latest standpoint, that is, Halo 3 will be released when it's ready.Kim was eager to tout the second wave of Xbox 360 titles, namely his big four: Crackdown, Too Human, Mass Effect, and Gears of War. While these titles have made few public appearances, Kim promised that E3 would serve as their proper coming out party. The Microsoft Game Studios GM also hinted at several other Xbox 360 developments (the camera?) that will be announced between now and the May event.
