A report coming out of GameSHOUT leads us to
believe that the report from Merrill Lynch was completely off balance. Like we said, it pays to be a little skeptical
of things like that, especially if it comes out a third-party firm. Sony has denied the speculation concerning the
potential delay and the price totals as well. Trying to pin a number on the assembly cost of a system like that is
pretty naive on any account, but it's even worse when they're off by $100.This doesn't mean Sony won't have to bite the bullet on losses for the console during the launch period though. Hopefully we'll hear more good, and valid, information as we get closer to a launch.
