In ballsy move to squash all the speculation
about launch obstructions, Sony has finally come out and said something about the future of seeing the PS3. They admit
a delay could be in the cards, and the bit from Gamespot says it may even be until after October. Echoing what we've already blogged here, a hold up that far
away would account for a holiday rush. The source of the "possible delay" is, to no surprise, the availability of the Blu-ray component and whether or not it can be massed produced in time. It's hard to say if anyone seriously thought they were going to deliver by late spring or early summer. But at least they've told us something. Maybe the analysts will shut up now.
