StepUI: Play DDR with your e-mails

In an effort to further transform cubicle workers into gerbils more efficiently use one's other appendages during work hours, Microsoft has developed a prototype e-mail program that can be ran using your feet.

Part of Microsoft's "Step User Interface" (StepUI) initiative, the StepMail program will allow people to use their feet to cycle through and delete e-mails, much in the way one would play Dance Dance Revolution while sitting down.

While none of the StepMail software is currently available for public use, but researchers close to the project say they want to try and incorporate the same concept for managing photos, as well. Of course, they may not be seeing the big picture, which is more complicated immersive gaming for PC fanatics.
