Metal Gear Awesome cartoon is SO awesome

This Flash cartoon hosted at deviantART, titled Metal Gear Awesome, is funny enough to warrant a pants wetting warning. Fans of Kojima's original PlayStation masterpiece will revel in the in-jokes, like Meryl's always popular posterior (pictured), her secret codec number, and all things DARPA chief.

This cartoon is very NSFW, not only because of the excess of violence and profanity, but chances are your snorting laughter will arouse the curiosity of your nosy coworkers.

Note: We are aware this is almost two ~~years~~ weeks old so, if you've seen it before, watch it again!

[UPDATE: It wasn't as old as we thought! However, since it doesn't come from the future, some will inevitably complain that it is still, in fact, too OLLLDDDDD/lame/yawn!]

fyi you need to watch it in internet explorer since firefox wont play it.

This Flash is not 2 years old. The deviant - in this case, egoraptor, - has been a member of deviantART since Apr 23, 2004. The Flash was uploaded to deviantART on February 22, 2006 and onto Newgrounds the day after.

That was gay.

I really must say I never liked MGS that much (waiting for fanboys). Never liked camera angles or the plot.

Funny, I just saw this for the first time yesterday on newgrounds as #1 vid. Its pretty sweet.

Agree to disagree Jago? And Galls, I'm kind of having a hard time understanding what that has to do with this video. If you don't like MGS, then you probably wouldn't like this video, and you probably should have skipped it and not commented on the post solely to piss off anyone that disagrees. That's what we call "trolling".

And jadenguy... I think you're kidding. In which case, I agree! ROFLWAFL, SO OLD! LAME! etc etc. :)

i thought it was funny and i love the sketchy flash style. Good use of a wacom tablet.

i was shockingly amused, although not explosively.

just thought i should give my opinion, because you care.

you guys are great... that was hiliarious and I haven't even played the Metal Gear games. Makes me wonder how much funnier it would be if I could get all of the in-jokes. Great stuff guys, that's all.

You assumed wrong...I played the original MGS front to back and loved it.

So like I said it isn't "pants wetting"...and that's my opinion and if you can't accept that then tough.

I thought it ment look at the back of meryl too

The Codec part with McDonell Miller = priceless.

Last year me and a mate set ourselves a little competition. make a Snake rip-off in Flash (which himself is a rip off of the guy from Escape from New York. but you knew that) about him infiltrating a boat. mine lasts a good solid 20 seconds. absolute rubbish! ho hum.

you should watch ego's ff7 flash's too!

I really got into Metal Gear at the time. This brought back some memories. Best part is the scene making fun of the bad AI when he blows a hole in the wall with C4.
