I picked up this game on the way home from work and just finished the training mission. So far I am impressed with the visuals and the gameplay.

...can't wait to see the multiplayer.

I also picked up this game on the way home from work. Fry's was selling it for $47.99.

Played through the training mission and the first mission...very impressive, they have outdone themselves.

I don't take any stock in the whole thing about power not helping gameplay. Power is a neccesary step towards more immersion and completeness in that whole experience of a game. Realistic facial expression can help better connect you with a story. CPU sapping innovations like the GRAW hud help feed you a more realistic experience. Sorround sound makes you feel like you're in the game.

GRAW is really the posterchild for what the Xbox 360 should be aiming for in the industry, innovation through a powerful console.

Well once you get further in the game, where things begin to get a bit more hairy and larger scale fire fights, the frame rates dip down pretty low, probably to around 10-15 fps. I would say that is considered "Saping" the power of the 360. Sure its pretty and impressive, hopefully more gamess will look this good, but have they already hit the barrier for the system?

Is there room to spare if they learn to optimize code better? We'll have to see.

What the %&*# r u talking about? iBet u don't even have the damn game & u'r just in here to stir things up. There is no place in this game that drops to 10-15fps. iWould know 'cuz I've logged some hours on this game and I'm almost @ the end on Hard. A drop in framerate that far would be noticable and make the game almost unplayable. U the 1st person I've ran across that said this trash.

The game runs @ a consistent frame rate regardless of whats going on; there is no slowdown anywhere or maybe my X360 has an extra GPU. No reviews, no one on Live, no one anywhere has mentioned anything about the framerate getting that bad. But somehow, u'v experienced this... Right.

Stay out of here w/ that garbage; Hate ppl like u always trying to start something or don't have a clue as to what they're talking about.
