Despite Sony's goal to push the PS3 to outsell the PlayStation 2 globally,
someone from Sony Europe has jumped out and said that head honcho David Reeves' quote does not mean
they are dedicated to simultaneous release for Europe and the US. So what'd he say exactly? A magazine reported him
saying, "it is my job to match day and date with the US launch; I am doing my best to make that
happen."Oops! Don't let the implication get you. They swear he wasn't giving anything away with that comment and all he was saying was that they are going to try and get the console out over there as soon as possible (surprise surprise). More than likely we'll hear about Japan getting the goods, followed by the US and Europe. Word on that issue could come as early as this month at the GDC.
