Why RR6? I'd understand if it was release in Japan to hype the 360 up, but in the US and Europe? LOL, I'd be surprise if this title does better than PGR3 in the US and Europe. In Japan, yes it'll be good for the system.

A button for gas, and X for break? Can I change it to the L and R triggers in the options menu?

the graphix in PGR are of course IMO x10 better than this. but its really good for an arcade racer.

I love this game. 14 cars on the track at once. 60FPS steady. Sub-5 second load times.

It has a completely different aesthetic than PGR3 and frankly is often more fun to play. Fighting through a field of 14 cars completely rocks. I'm half-way through my world tour.

With Burnout on hand as well, maybe I'm just a racing nut, but it's foolish to overlook this game. Rent it or Gamefly it.

This has to be coming out to counter act the release of Burnout Revenge. Burnout is easily a superior offline and online experience and there is no reason to even consider buying Ridge Racer.

In other news, I still have my broken King Kong demo. Basically, you get stuck on a level that requires an AI character to help you open a door... they just aren't there. It's pretty but borked.

Why oh why do game journalists give this game so much shit? I've got every title on the 360 that involves racing, and pound for pound RR6 is the most polished, most fun, smoothest playing, enjoyable racing experience on the 360. Everyone I know who takes the time to actually play the game usually gets hooked within a race or two...

So why, journalists, do we see nothing but flippant bullshit from you all when it comes to Ridge Racer 6?

It's not to counter the release of burnout revenge. RR6 was the lowest selling game at launch, combined with consistantly low reviews from jackasses that think that crap like NFS:MW, with it's stutteringly low framerate and constant tearing is a better game. It's to stop the bleeding.

Not in the demo, you can't. The only thing you can change is your background music. That silly omission, along with the insipid announcer (turn that idiot OFF!) really kills this demo IMHO.

The real game allows you to tweak the controls, fortunately.

Another odd design choice: the purchasable music tracks, which you can't demo before buying. What were they thinking?

I can't find it. It isn't in the new demos or trailers or under ridge racer 6, only 4 trailers.

Must be because i'm in the UK :( Damn...i thought they were going to keep us up to date with america this time.

If i'm looking in the wrong place and it IS there for brits, let me know!!
