Namco Bandai and Black Hole are looking to make their Warhammer franchise more accessible to general
strategy fans and new gamers alike with the upcoming Mark of Chaos. Senior producer Chris Wren spoke with GameSpot and GameSpy recently and outlined some of the
changes in store for the fantasy-themed Warhammer.Chaos will place more emphasis on combat and less on resource collecting, while featuring four of the 11 races from the popular miniatures game. In addition to a new dynamic campaign mode and an updated 3D engine, Wren also discusses the special "push mechanics" that are available when cavalries rush enemy lines.
Mark of Chaos is scheduled to ship this Fall, but we can expect new demos and trailers at E3.
