Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter - the fastest selling UK Xbox 360 title

The worldwide release of Ghost Recon: Advanced
Warfighter last Friday has done wonders for the game in the UK market. Entering the chart at number 2 (second only
to a multiplatform FIFA release: FIFA Street 2), the Xbox 360 exclusive title is now officially the
fastest selling Xbox 360 title in the UK. This is a testament to the value of simultaneous worldwide releases if
they're done right (ie: no shortages thank
you very much).Other interesting tidbits from this week's UK games chart:
- The Xbox 360 version of Fight Night: Round 3 outsold the PS2 version by a factor of 2:1 -- evidence that high def sweat, blood and tears really does sell games.
- Seven out of the top ten games were EA published titles.
- Alongside GRAW, there were two new entries: Lemmings on the PSP (No.12) and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (No.22)

Umm, Burnout Revenge 360 was out last week (or did I read this wrong). Regardless, it's such a straight port that it's not going to hurt GRAW.

Maybe it wasn't Hi-Def anything! Maybe it was gamers wanting a new fucking game for their fucking war machine!
If I paid that much for something, I'd be soaking up damn near anything that came out!

I think the 360 version outsold the PS2 version because this is like the 30th version on the PS2. :P
How many of those can you buy? And also why buy the $40 new one when there are old versions , just as good, for under $20.

FN3 is actually quite a different game on the 360 than the PS2/Xbox version. The 360 version is actually good while the other two are crap.
Warfighter should get the top spot, even though it has some ugly AI glitches. It is a solid title that's been selling out around my area in Florida.

As far as I know, 24 is only out for PS2 and not for Xbox 360. The sentence wasn't all that clear and got me excited for a second.

Ghost Recon for me has been by far the most intense online multiplayer game. I can't wait to play Advanced Warfighter.
