yeah milk the americans for extra money from games and sell them at their true price to asians. Any body else thinks 64 bucks for a game is just too much.

Region coding has to go. Find a better way to make sure the people supposed to be getting paid get paid. Because that's all it's really about. Let's just cut out the nonsense already.

I think so.. That's why I use Gamefly. I have a new copy of GRAW from them and I could buy it from them for about $37.. not a bad deal

Yes, I definitely think the new price is too high. It's a psychological thing for me - I had no problem paying $50, but $60 is too much. I walked out of EB without The Outfit today even though I know I want it and would buy it for $50.

You bloody americans, always wingeing about how much money it costs you to buy this and that. Not content with your cheap 'fast' broadband, huge underpriced TV and the fantastism of HD market segementation, you now want to winge about paying $59.99 for a game! Come to the UK, where XBox's will cost you $507.12 (Premium) and GRAW will cost you$87.72

Does anyone know if a Asian Xbox 360 Hard Drive will be compatible with a US Xbox 360? My hard drive is damaged and I need a replacement. Or is there any US online shops that ship to India?

DeadPlasmaCell, the only way you could get it for that price is if you have $10 credit. As for any other gamefly member, it's $48 plus tax.

#5 Darren Cornwell, look I appreciate the fact that you are getting raped over there in the UK. but somehow you forget that it's still wrong.

It does not matter that it's not as much as yours is it only matters that it has become too dam much for a game... 60 dollars 65 after tax is where I draw the line... I have decided to buy only games I really like and get them used off of ebay after the hype dies down.

Shoot I waited this long, a month or two won't kill me at this point.

but like #6 Vasanth Dharmaraj they will suffer with this new price as not as many games are sold as could have been because some people turn away.

You pay that full price if you want but i'm done.
From now on if my game isn't 34 bucks 40 at the most, then you can keep it. - I refuse to pay more then that for all my games so you buy retail if you want I'll stay on ebay or find sites like play-asia.com

enough is enough already... I mean dam don't these dam game people drive porsches already.. what else you want a Ferrari...

I feel the same way. Paying $60 US outright is just a little too steep for me. I find myself buying more DS games as a result. Hell, the reason I got a DS is because PSP games are so damned expensive.

I thought about picking up Oblivion, and I still might, but now I think about these purchases much longer. The collector's edition is over $70!

How much is gamefly?

You bloody europeans always complaining about americans. We get at the most two weeks of vacation per year while you get two to three months worth of vacation, or "holiday" as you call it. So yeah, we work hard for our money while you hardly work. Yeah, we get to complain.

Depends on how long you've been a Gamefly Member really, for me it's $43 used and 5 "gamefly dollars" every 3 months

Gamefly is about $15 for 1 game out at a time, $21 for 2, $28 for 3 and $35 for 4. i'm doing the 4 game plan right now and it's still cheaper than buying games.. There aren't any due dates, or any limits to how many games you can rent each month.. and you get a 2 week trial.. Pretty good deal if you're into playing lots of games.

Okay, I love gamefly, I really do. It's an incredible deal, but does anybody else think that DeadPlasmaCell might be being paid a little something to say what he's posted so far?

Well, I am in Hong Kong and have a bought a copy of GRAW for about US$37, but it doesn't support xBox Live!!!

That's what the price different means...

oh, I hate the region coding as well... We don't get half the games that come out in the States, it's like microsoft is telling me what games to play!!!

i emailed PlayAsia. their reply email started off with the standard disclaimer: their infomation comes from manufacturers, they are not responsible for errors, yada, yada, yada.

but then they added this nugget
"By the way, we tested the Asian version of 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
Advanced Warfighter' and it can be played by US Xbox360. "

so i'm ordering my copy now.

I ordered my copy of GRAW from play-asia.com as soon as I read on here that it is compatible with US Xbox's and that I could get it for $37. But then I read a post that it does not support Xbox Live, the reason for the low cost. Anybody know if that is true?
