think anyone that's been hanging around the PlayStation 3 scene lately thinks there won't be some sort of
launch shortage in November. In fact, according to this article from eToychest, there will only be one million units
ready to ship when the time comes. If this is actually true and you thought the Xbox 360 launch was nuts, then this
will be a feeding frenzy like no other.According to the article, "stores are now gearing up to only sell pre-orders for Sony's next-gen offering on one, maybe two days. This small window of time will be widely communicated, and customers will have to visit their local store during that time if they plan on putting their name in the pot for a launch day console." Surely we will hear more information regarding bigger launch numbers as time approaches. Having only one million available is quite small for a simultaneous release of this size. Just get ready to wait in line...
