You cant play as Conan, which is a bummer.

What is the subscription fee, if any?

Hate to sound like a geek but shouldn't the title say Mithra? not Mitra?

Oh wait......I am a geek.

It,s Mitra. And dont worry the Conan universe is infinitly less geeky(gay) than the other MMORPG worlds around. in fact i cant think of a more well suited environment for a MMORPG than the Hyborian age with its multitude of civilisations, myths, monstersand gods.
By Crom, they better not mess this up!

I dunno, a bunch of sweaty guys running around wearing nothing but loincloths does beg a few questions...

Anyway, I love this concept. Build a single player campaign then give players the option to head into a MMORPG world after that. Problem I see, though, is when folks decide to start hacking their characters before heading into the world to boost stats and such. But they probably already thought about that and will either block or purge numbers that do not quite fit right.

It'll just be another hack n' slash idiot fest with no sense of an immersive "world". I can't wait.

...sigh... how I miss classic Ultima Online...

In response to 5, I'm not sure but I would assume the meaning of single player doesn't imply your world will be saved on your harddrive. You likely will still need an internet connection to play the beginning experience so your stats and such can be communicated to the central server, thus eliminating at least that type of hacking.

Number 6, have some faith man! In all honesty I haven't yet had an experience quite like EQ1 (Grinding CAN be a good thing, if you grind in groups like most of EQ required, and the long hours built community like no other game, i.e. WoW 1-60 in 2 weeks easy). Nevertheless theres always hope, SWG was great for many hours for me despite a lack of decent support and player interaction.

If this game is to satisfy me it'll need a strong level of community built through various methods geared towards hardcore guild types and casual family types.
