Best week ever. I'm going out in a bit to buy Oblivion PC and MPH, and possibly pickup the reissue of Phoenix Wright.

"Every platform is getting lots of love" ?
There isnt a single gamecube game up there. no love.
Paul @ Mar 20th 2006 9:26AM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought DS was also getting Worms: Open Warfare this week.
Thryon @ Mar 20th 2006 9:31AM
OBLIVION for Xbox 360....way baby. First one in the series that I will not be playing on the PC. I had pre-purchased this game last September...I am in the final countdown. My local store assured me they will have copies available tomorrow...or 23h and 28 minutes from now.
someone @ Mar 20th 2006 9:34AM
Yep, every systems gettin' some games. Except the 'cube...
Fan @ Mar 20th 2006 9:40AM
Funny how there are more xbox games than there are 360 games. Hows that backwardscompatability thing going for you all?
Anyway im guessing the games are gonna come with time. But how long until the "Were are the games?", "There are more live arcade releases than games!" and "Its a games machine not a IM client!" comments start.
I was in a mainstream games/magazine store the other day and i saw Q4 for the 360 on sale. The cost? 800 NOK - thats 800/6 = 133$ lol. And on the shelf, about 1 meter away, was Q4 for the PC. Cost? 200 NOK - thats 200/6 = 33$ lol.
Now Q4 sux so i did not buy a copy but guess witch one i would prefer? Talk about pricing yourself out of the market.

the release of tetris and metroid prime: hunters is also significant for nintendo because they are both wi-fi enabled.
Kevin @ Mar 20th 2006 9:48AM
Metroid boo ya!
Tesla @ Mar 20th 2006 9:50AM
Tetris DS is going to be great with many different modes of gameplay on top of the great original Tetris fun and upto 10 players!
Me and My Katamari if keeping with the same gameplay (and from what I hear it is) will be great fun on the road.
I'll also be taking my second hit of AC!D and in 3D! I can't wait to check out the 3D picture viewing from photos taken in MGS3 Subsistance as well. The online for that has been great so far.
I'm hesitant on Metroid Prime Hunters, as I have been on any FPS on a handheld, but I'll keep a close eye on it and check out others playing it to see if it is something I'd play.
There are so many games coming out lately that there is nowhere near enough time to play them all.
Cameron @ Mar 20th 2006 9:57AM
It will be Oblivion PC and Metroid for me. Then Tetris a little later.
Jim N @ Mar 20th 2006 9:58AM
Isn't Splinter Cell for the PSP suppose to be coming out this week on the 3/23/06?
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Me and My Katamari
Metroid Prime: Hunters
And hopefully Splinter Cell!
TheMayor87 @ Mar 20th 2006 10:03AM
Metroid and Tetris = pre-ordered. =)
I'll be mighty busy this week.
draco @ Mar 20th 2006 10:18AM
wow lots of PSP games :O
Cameron @ Mar 20th 2006 10:29AM
I forgot. I will also be keeping an eye on Tao's Adventure. From previews I've read and the screens I've seen, it looks quite promising. I'll be waiting for reviews, though.
Josh @ Mar 20th 2006 10:40AM
The only release I'm interested in this week is the re-issue of Phoenix Wright, and maybe Tao's Adventure is the reviews are good. Other than that, I'm looking forward to Iwata's GDC Keynote Speech on Friday.
JodyAnthony @ Mar 20th 2006 11:03AM
Suikoden V and Tetris DS are going to run my life for a while.
Rare Hare @ Mar 20th 2006 12:36PM
looking forward to Metroid Prime: Hunters, as it's probably the title that will make me put my DS online.
and i WOULD be looking forward to Oblivion, if only i owned an Xbox 360. but, alas, that's apparently impossible for a while now.
Gonzo @ Mar 20th 2006 12:53PM
Oh my god so much to choose from. Where do I start.
Wait, never mind.
I only wanted to check out a few of these. Namely, Metroid Hunters. The demo was fun but it looks like they did a whole lot more with it. I also love playing a good fps on line, ever since doom.
I'm glad the psp got something simple and fun like sudoku, I only hope they don't try selling a $50 game of just sudoku.
Catz should be interesting. Are they like nintendogs that ignore you? Those nintendogs were way too attentive.

excuse me but where did you find it for 800 NOK ? i live in norway and ive never seen it over 550. a large shop here sells it for 450. = 68 $. still expensive though, but its not 133$..
Jago @ Mar 20th 2006 2:33PM
"Yep, every systems gettin' some games. Except the 'cube..."
Ehh...there are PLENTY of games that are $20-25 for the Cude that have yet to be played.
Allen @ Mar 20th 2006 3:43PM
The good news is my wife ordered me Metroid Prime: Hunters. The bad news is she ordered it from Amazon a bit late and I am not to expect it until mid-April.
It'll give me something to look forward to, I guess -- been looking forward to it since DS launch, what'll a few more weeks hurt?
striderhayasa @ Mar 20th 2006 6:58PM
It's all about Metroid Prime Hunters and Tetris this week for me. Tao later depending on reviews and impressions. Oblivion for the 360 a little later since I loved Morrowind even with the glitches and the horrible animation.
@ #9 - Did you play the Metroid Demo? Dude, IGN is saying the thumb strap is the way to play and I used to think that too until I saw a friend of mine play the demo with the stylus. "WTF" I said when we would play deathmatch. "How can you play with that?" When I tried it with a suggestion from Nintendo rep on IGN, I never wanted to use the thumb strap again. Stylus is the way to play. It's so good to the point where, an opponent was guaranteed shot if he wasn't constantly on the move. It's the best accuracy I've had on ANY FPS except for mouse and keyboard controlled FPS. Yes, that is Halo, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, TimeSplitters, Black and Turok included.
It's going to be a great week for gamers.
Gamer_Domeni @ Mar 20th 2006 7:56PM
Metroid Prime: Hunters of course, going to travel 30 minutes downtown to where I pre-ordered during my spare tomorrow, and start playing it on the way back.
My spare lasts 70 minutes.... hopefully make it back in time =P.
PS. Tried to get them to hand it over today... no luck =(
