Just when you think the world
couldn't get any dumber (which usually happens after the latest episode of America's Next Top Model), someone
pulls a stunt like the one committed by Brit Steve Allcock. Stop snickering.Mr. Allcock, a bus driver for Blackburn Transport in the UK, was given his walking papers after passengers reported him playing Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on his PSP. As gestapo as it appears, further information reveals that Allcock was fired not for what he was playing on his PSP, but when he played with his PSP, which was not just during his breaks, but while he was at stops, traffic lights, and waiting for passengers to board at the bus stop. He apparently kept the console on his knee, which only became evident after passengers heard the cries of characters from inside the game emanating from the front of the bus.
If there's a bright side to all this, at least that's one less intelligence-challenged individual behind the wheel of a moving vehicle.
