Let's face it: not everyone is l33t right out of the gate. It takes time, effort, and patience with squealers over Xbox Live. That's why Microsoft is calling all veterans to be ambassadors to the service for the free Xbox Live Gold weekend. To be honest, you don't even have to be that learned in the system. All it takes is for you to make some space on your friends list to show them the ropes.
If you're a friendly chap willing to help out, fire off an e-mail to xlmail@microsoft.com and let them know you're interested. Include "Xbox Ambassadors" in the subject line put your Gamertag in there as well. They'll be posting the gamertags before the weekend to help people track down the ambassadors. As long as you don't abuse the noobs too much, you'll be awarded a lifetime of fame and glory* for your troubles.
