Abusing in-game characters has violent repercussions
It may seem like meaningless fun to you and your friends, but in-game characters have feelings too. I guess you reap what you sow.

Haha, that was an awesome video; cleverly done! The next time I play Prince of Persia, I'll think twice before I jump off a really high ledge to the city below. :) And then I'll still do it anyway, but at least I'll have thought about it.

*He goes wide eyed, gets very paranoid and starts peeking out the window for various James Bond characters. As well as Master Chief, Mario & friends and the Driver from the BurnOut series.*

Oh, that was amazing.... nice acting, and very well
done.... wow I loved it... Good job to the people who did that.
That was cool, one of the best i've seen on the web.
I guess that will teach you to make fun of game characters, what if that was Master Chief - you know the kind of whoop ass he would have put down on those poor fools......... LoL
DidYouLoseASock @ Mar 22nd 2006 7:44AM
wow. That was creative and well timed. It had me laughing.
Milton Bradley™ @ Mar 22nd 2006 8:40AM
Whoa.
That freaked me out. Nice production value.
Loban @ Mar 22nd 2006 9:05AM
wow, very well done indeed. The whole time I thought it was just a home-made video of some kids playing a game, until the dude busted in, scared the crap outta me.
The only thing that gave it away was that i'd never seen that game before, and it looks like one i would play.
Intangible 360 @ Mar 22nd 2006 9:30AM
Lol, that was hilarious and well done too.
Matt @ Mar 22nd 2006 9:39AM
That was unexpected. Loved it though.
I remember when I first played Fable on the xbox, I'd beat the little kid up who was being bullied and his whines would make me feel sorry for him so I'd have to mute the game. It's fun messing with characters but as graphics and sound improve they start to become so real you do almost feel sorry for them.

Hehe, I may have some Italian plumbers breaking down my door tonight...or ninjas...hmmmm...

This is a viral ad for the amBX range that Phillips is launching. If you go to the URL, it just redirects to their product page.

i think i'll watch how many times i let Kratos fall off a ledge from now on.. can you imagine would it would be like if HE paid you a little visit?
SlightMiscalculation @ Mar 22nd 2006 12:33PM
I'd like to see that with some Zelda style chicken whacking
Ed Canale @ Mar 22nd 2006 1:40PM
Those guys deserved that....
GTgamer @ Mar 22nd 2006 2:36PM
The part where he busts through the door is awesome. LOL. Definitely well done.
pedro @ Mar 22nd 2006 2:36PM
dear god i hope sgt. jhonson doesnt come after me, but amBX sounds good.
wonderflex @ Mar 22nd 2006 2:48PM
Lol - why on Earth do people continually glorify Master Chief as the greatest, most powerful, video game character of all time. To be truthfuly, rather you like the games or not, there are several characters out there who take, and deal out, a whole lot more than Master Cheif could ever dream of doing; especially considering what he's wearing for armor.
Doomguy - Doom II. He fights off all of Hell.
Blanka - Street Fighter. He doesn't wear clothes, has razor sharp claws, takes on shoryukens, and can give off electricity.
Lu Kang - Mortal Kombat. Shirtless; can take being frozen, pulled acrross the ground by a spear/rope combo, and hit with bombs - yet can still turn into a dragon and eat you in half.
Hero - Altered Beast. Takes on the undead, the deamon god Neff, and rescues the daughter of Zeus. Can shapeshift into a Werewolf, Dragon, Tiger, or Bear.
The list can go on in on. All in all, Master Cheif would be the least of my worries in a fight. He dies a whole lot easier than Star Mario or Chuck Norris.
Andir @ Mar 22nd 2006 2:48PM
Am I the only one that thought it was crap and un-entertaining?
GTgamer @ Mar 22nd 2006 3:07PM
Ah wonderflex, but none of those guys had a woman's voice in their head instructing them to kill.
You don't mess with a guy that's toting a rocket launcher and has a disembodied kill-happy chick in his head. You make an excellent point, but still...just sayin'...
boo_radley @ Mar 22nd 2006 3:10PM
If you go to the website posted in the video it turns out that this thing is a viral add for a technlogy related to those stupid Phillips ambilight TV that project colors onto your wall. Entertaining video, but it's a dissapointment to find out it's just an add.
wonderflex @ Mar 22nd 2006 6:23PM
Terran soldiers have all that he has, including a ghastly robotic woman's voice in their head (although it's over a com-link). I wouldn't challenge somebody who rides around in an upgraded version of the ED-209, fighting against the Zurg and Protoss.
