While Europe may have to wait a
few more months for a new, WiFi-enabled DS game, Nintendo UK and BT Openzone are giving DS gamers something to love in
the meantime. The two companies today announced 600 new wireless hot spots in retail outlets all across the United
Kingdom and Ireland. Of those WiFi-enabled stores, over 500 of those will feature Download Stations where gamers can
download new demos (which Nintendo promises to update every month). The hot spots and Download Stations will be found in GAME, Gamestation, HMV, Toys 'R US, Smyths Toys and a few smaller retailers throughout the UK and Ireland, with the stations currently offering demos of Meteos, Polarium, and Miyamoto's nintendog 'Pic'--not the best selection, but soon the stations will offer demos of Pokemon Link, Brain Training, and Trauma Center, along with some Animal Crossing goodies.
