I saw this guy hanging outside the line for Satoru Iwata's keynote this afternoon and I'm just guessing that The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Sega Genesis and Turbo-Grafx 16 games weren't the bombs this Nintendo University alum was thinking about. He was probably waiting for something of the Nintendo GO or, better yet, the Nintendo ON variety.

Wouldn't surprise me if Fark.com does some kind of Photoshop assignment with this guy.

Keep it, adds to the pic. Wouldn't expect a guy like that to know spelling anyways.

Then again just cause this guy was there, has an obvious passion (obsession) with Nintendo doesn't map out any other facts to his life... for instance his sexual habits, how much of a life he has outside of videogames...
Just because he has the balls to have a little fun at his own expense and none of you could. I think its more sad sitting at a screen and judging those in the world living their own lives.

I think his sign is pretty cool and I'm surprised that there weren't more hardcore gamers milling around outside the building. Think about how many people do that for MTV events. Not that the MTV event people are worth much of anything, but this guy wasn't looking for fame. He was having fun, and hoping he could get and up-close view of the keynote hooplah.

Well, aside from the extraordinary impracticality, I guess Nintendo has been claiming that the biggest new thing hasn't been announced. Depth perception would go pretty well with a full 3d controller. But... No, it just doesn't make sense. 3d is so meagerly advantageous over normal screens that it can't add much to games, and it'd defeat the purpose of not scaring off non-hardcore gamers. It couldn't be more important than the controller. Also sucks for audiences, which is part of the fun.
I guess I can see why people would believe it, but I'm pretty sure the hidden thing isn't going to be a 3d display.

it's a very good read and highly worth it.
However, I still do not believe that VR will be a reality for the Rev, maybe the console after it, but not the Rev.
With all that said, I kinda' haveto wonder who this guy thinks he is, SeriousGamer007?

Empire Strikes Back trumps all. "It is useless to resist..."
Anyway, the guy's just having some fun. He certainly got noticed, so, in effect...he succeeded. *props

Apperance-wise, he actually looks more "normal" than the typical gamer, i.e. you guys.

i had a blast.
and for those wondering, i just wanted iwata, miyamoto, or reggie to notice me and see my sign. know about my passion for nintendo. i dont think they saw, though, so if that means they have to see me on a website, great.
i actually didnt get ridiculed as much as i thought i would, out there, but you sure can tell the sony/ms fanboys when you see them. they were the ones telling me "thats dumb" "whatever" or just glaring at me. it was pretty hilarious.
